Death of Rev John O’Loughlin listed with obituary details

Death of Rev John O Loughlin aged about 78 is announced with heartfelt tribute. The minister served more than forty five years and died September 19 near Kalona Iowa after a brief illness. He leaves a wife and several children across Iowa and Nebraska. Funeral was held in Kalona with interment in Washington Iowa.

Prominent Germanville Resident Andrew Sinn Dies at 67

Andrew Sinn, 67, died Saturday evening in Germanville near Brighton. He was a respected local figure, taken to his home for burial today. Jake Hite shipped a top quality horse lot from the city, adding money to merchants as buyers deliver and pay. A sample story shows Hite paying a neighbor’s feed as part of his business dealings. Mrs. J M McDonald, staying with daughter Mrs. Will Chilcote Jr, went from her daughter's home in Monmouth to visit another daughter, Mrs. Wright.
