Two Cars in Accident Near Here Sunday Night
An Ottumwa man James L. Pease drove a car damaged 400 dollars two miles west of Washington on highway No. 1 Sunday at 5 30 p m. Harry W Lauderman of Pleasant Plain was in the other car which was slightly damaged. Officers said Lauderman in front began to turn off the highway and Pease failed to stop, rear ending the preceding car.

Enos Davis Dies at 81 in Crawfordsville Bank Organizer
Enos Davis 81 native of Crawfordsville died at home Sunday after a stroke six years ago. He helped organize the Crawfordsville bank and served as a director until three years ago. Funeral Wednesday at Federated Presbyterian Church with burial in Cambrian Cemetery. He was born Sept 29 1868 near Crawfordsville and married Jennie Morris in 1895. Survivors include his wife a daughter and four grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers also survive.

Janecek Funeral to Be Held Tuesday
Funeral services for Joseph Janecek 43 of Keswick will be at St. James church Tuesday at 10 a.m. He died Saturday in an Iowa City hospital after eight days of illness. A rosary is set for 8 p.m. tonight at his Keswick home. Burial will follow at Elm Grove cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in charge.
