In Fairfield Iowa September 16 Raymond Bragg a Packwood area farmer shot himself in the temple with a rifle in his home watched by his wife and young son. He died two hours later as financial difficulties were cited. A neighbor had lent the rifle to shoot rabbits and Bragg reportedly returned to the yard before the fatal act.
