A blast at Reynolds Metals Aluminum plant in Muscle Shoals Alabama ripped a 200 foot wall and killed four workers with about 40 others injured. The explosion around 11 27 p m during a midnight shift occurred in the cast house where molten aluminum is cast into ingots. Names of the deceased are Charles Creekmore 53 Florence Charles Emburg 30 Sheffield Marvin Bullard Muscle Shoals and John Daily Florence.
