In Washington and parts of the county voting was light while several districts saw decisive results. Logan Heilman won the Washington north district school director post 74 to 4 over Bill Perdock. Dean Luers was reelected in district one without opposition. County board of education races produced a Vincent mix game. Havel led in the northeast with 266 to Steele's, Dale Jones ran unopposed in the southeast with 9 votes, and Riverside elected multiple directors with 116, 62, and 158 votes for different seats. Columbus Junction and Keota districts also elected directors.
