The 16 year old Washington girl Hilda Farrier who was crowned Monday in the Cedar River near Conesville was recovered near the surface about a quarter mile from the drowning site. A committal service was held at Elm Grove cemetery and a memorial service is set for Friday at the L A Jones funeral home directed by Rev. W J Stevens. Rescue teams including Muscatine emergency personnel and workers from Conesville and Washington searched since Monday. The reward for finding her was not claimed and was given to Roy Farrier, the girl's father.
