Worth County Supervisors Defend Mileage Claims
In Worth County District Court, defense attorney William Pappas argues the three supervisors Arnold Buechele Boyd Harmon and Harvey Bartz did not break state law or file false mileage claims. He says their duties include road and drainage work and that total monthly mileage was correct despite daily variances. He contends weather reports from Des Moines and nearby agencies justify days claimed and that the state’s charges lack proof of fraud.
