Plane Crash Claims Two Lives At Blakesburg Air Show
Two Illinois youths died when a 1950 single engine Johnson Rocket crashed into trees during an Antique airfield show near Blakesburg Iowa. West Chester girl a heroine rescues brother from well
Lisa Lankford, seven, saved her 16 month old brother Terry from a farm well shaft five feet deep after he slipped through boards. Terry was dangling by his shirt. Lisa slid down a pipe, grabbed him, and held on until parents arrived. Both children were soaked but unharmed. the well now has a steel cover.
