The funeral will be held tomorrow at ten o'clock from the family residence. Rev. J hk Logue of the Second U P Church will conduct the services.
A pleasant wedding was held last evening in the city center as Benjamin A. Williever wed Miss Maggie A. Osborn. The couple from Ainsworth chose the office of Squire Rogers for a simple ceremony. The town offers warm congratulations and best wishes.
A group of young people traveled to Keota in a roomy canopy and attended the White meetings last evening. Afterward they had luncheon at Miss Clara Hamiltons home. The party included Misses Nettle Anderson Jennie Anderson Alice Combs Mollie Cherry Nannie Laughead Martha Sampson and Messrs Ralph Smith Dr Howard Boyer Port Sherman.
Yesterday evening a moonlight party was enjoyed by a number of young people who drove to and from Ainsworth. The gathering included Mae DeLong Charles Davis Charles Hicks Frank McClean Herman Wallace and several others.
Ainsworth hosted a large turnout last night for Hon. Byron A Beeson who spoke for the sound money party. Local attendees included The Springer Quartette John Springer Chas Strain Lloyd Latta and Jim Brookhart with Chas Stump W B P Moothart Walter Wilson Jim Baird Mack Williams and Mr. Crawford among others.
Last evening the ladies of the O E S entertained their gentlemen friends at the Temple building rooms. Games were played and late in the evening elegant refreshments were served. The lodge women are praised as excellent hosts and guests will remember the event.
At their home in West Washington last evening Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shrader hosted friends for tea. Mrs. Shrader excels in cooking and guests enjoyed a Four top seating. After tea the evening moved to cards and target with guests Chas Ward E Norton J Babcock W Morris J W Teeter Frank Stewart and Misses Doig and Gertrude Stewart joining.
Geo A B Amerman and Lonzo Crowley and family of the Preach Theatrical Co have been touring inland towns. Crowley and family went to Peoria last evening while Amerman, noted for long flowing blond hair, stays to arrange a home talent show and performs feats of strength such as breaking iron bars like Sandow.
Last evening Marshal Heath was summoned away during the King and Sawyer entertainment. Spectators described as weary Willies demanded his presence and to bunk in City Hall, but officials dismissed the request and stated Washington does not entertain such conditions.
Mr and Mrs Wm Scofield hosted about seventeen old time friends at a six oclock dinner in their west Washington home. The list of attendees includes H A Burrell A W Wallace Jackson Roberts J C W Coxe F B Brown Lulu B Patrick Eunice Scofield and others. Local rail updates note locomotive 215 back in service on Washington to Knox ville runs and engine 245 fully overhauled with an estimated 125000 more miles. Events cover political meetings Col Bell and James Brookhart in Franklin Center and Attorney Walker plus the Springer quartet at Riverside with Lillian Russell at the Grand.
Prohibition enforcer McConnaughy from Washington arrived Friday and confiscated liquor shipments at the depot awaiting owners to claim them. It is understood he intends to use the incident as a test case on whether railway companies may transport liquor into Prohibition Town. Sunday likely felt dry to disappointed locals.
A buggy was brought to the Washington Buggy Company after a severe wreck last evening. Young Babcock of the north side suffered a runaway from a speedy horse, but he escaped with no injuries and few remains of the ride were left, the horse bolting off in a stiff Kansas breeze. The frightened rider was unhurt.
The King & Sawyer Company presents The Widow a clean laughable comedy tonight with special ties between acts. Only two more nights at popular prices 10c 20c and 30c. last chance to see a good company in a clean comedy with strong specialties.
A warm seven room dwelling with a barn is offered to rent four blocks southwest of the square. Rowinson and Alberson announce availability at their place of business.

The King and Lawyer Company presents a ladies and children matinee tomorrow afternoon at 2 30 admission is ten cents for all parts of the house. The evening play is announced for tonight at the theatre.
In Keota Iowa on October 22 a five year old grandson of L A Norton nearly died when a clothes line wrapped around his neck while playing in the yard. He was found unconscious and rushed to the house. Dr Brice treated him and his condition remained critical.
Ezra Kendall delivered his great hit A Pair of Kids in a lively performance by the King & Sawyer Company. The audience was larger than the night before and enjoyed the show, with the usual strong specialties again praised.
Smoke Walters guests Mrs Miles Bradford and Mrs Rev Thorne en route from Ft Dodge. Rev A L Davidson in Wampum says sick improve slowly. Dr Henson to lecture at The Graham and First United Presbyterian church. surprise dance planned near the city.
