The United States coal company mine near Bradley, 18 miles south of Steubenville, was destroyed by a dynamite blast. Windows and poles were shattered and communication with Bradley cut. Seventeen dynamite stick stubs were found near the wrecked tipple as officials warned of possible further turmoil.
