Des Moines Obituary: Robert Hites Dies After Heart Attack
Robert Hites, former Ainsworth resident, died at his Des Moines home Tuesday morning from a heart attack. Born July 16, 1895, he served in World War I, worked 30 years in the Postal Department, and was active in Masonic circles. Surviving are daughter Gretchen of Phoenix, four grandchildren, a brother, and his wife Junella preceded in death. Funeral services will be held in Des Moines Thursday at 3 p.m. with burial there.
