KCC Colum bus day features Father Mannhardt talk
Between 209 and 250 people attended the KCC Colum bus day festivities at the lodge hall last evening. Rev Charles Mannhardt of Fort Madison formerly of Washington delivered a talk on Christopher Columbus. Washington friends greeted him and enjoyed his address. The program included tap dancing by Margaret Snyder vocal solos by Forrest Walker and accordion solos by Archie Horak Mrs Payne accompanied the performances. Paul Horak grand knight presided and J M Kelly introduced the speaker and acts. A crowd gathered for the dance with Horak's band providing music.
