Pilot Rescued After Four Days in Mountain Wreck
Joel T. Honey a 52 year old Needles California fireman survived four days stranded in a wrecked plane on Mt Timpanogos Utah. He used a flashlight to signal rescuers and protected himself with clothing snow and snowballs as he waited for help. He was flown two miles to a road for ambulance extraction and survived a broken hip jaw and possible ankle injury.
