About 100 United Auto Workers crowded the Detroit Leland Hotel to demand a meeting with UAW President Walter Reuther on Ford negotiations. Police urged order as Bluestone said company officials would meet the strikers at the Rouge plant this afternoon. The protest followed anger at Ford’s farming out work and layoffs, amid a Ford strike since Oct. 3 and a pending board decision on the Kenosha agreement with American Motors.

Greiners of Wellman Injured in Two Car Collision
Mrs Howard Greiner of Wellman remains in Mercy Hospital Iowa City after a Friday two car crash nine miles southwest of Iowa City on highway. She suffers facial fractures and had surgery Saturday morning. Mr Greiner is hospitalized with head injuries and leg bruises. The Regina High School youth driver attempted to pass another car and spun into the Greiner vehicle destroying both cars.

Erbe Warns Iowans Skeptical Of CD Salesmen

John N. Yutzy Dies Sudden at Home Near Wellman
John N. Yutzy died Tuesday at his home seven miles northeast of Wellman from a heart attack. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 9:30 am at Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church with Morris Swartzendruber and Walter L. Beachy leading. Survivors include his wife Susan Mast Yutzy, his mother, three sons Eli Lester and Roman, four brothers plus several sisters and 14 grandchildren. He was born January 1 1899 in Hutchinson Kansas and lived in Iowa most of his life.
