Twenty people are sought to organize a Banjo Mandolin and Guitar club. The club will teach one night a week and arrange pupil lessons. See Chas Stump at FE E Thomas' music store. Mrs Mary Crull and children, guests of Mr and Mrs N Squires, returned today to Crebs I T.
October weddings bloom as Hunter Glaze of Keota marries Ella Glaze in a daytime ceremony at the bride's mother home. Rev. W. G. Thorne officiates a cream organdy gown union with autumn decor and a lavish seaside-themed wedding dinner. Out of town guests include Mr. and Mrs. Hunter of Keota and Mrs. Moore of Wyman.
Early morning wedding unites Nelson Finney of Winterset and Alice Cooley of the city at 9 o'clock in Mrs. Cooley's home. Rev Robt Gray of First Baptist officiated. Elder couple, few guests, then depart for Winterset to establish residence.
Friends of Mrs. Tate and her daughter Miss Jennie gathered at their Washington home for a farewell evening before they depart for Chicago to visit Miss Mary Tate. They will then go to New York City to be with Rev. Howard Tate and wife. The town regrets their leaving.
After his semi centennial speech tomorrow Bryan will depart at 1 15 for Wapello with first stop there then through Columbus Junction and onward to Cedar Rapids and Marshalltown. Washington sees many visitors but Bryan will not appear there this campaign.
Non Wim B Allison United States senator and Hon Sam Clark congressman and Gate City editor arrived in town today. They traveled here to join a Republican rally at Wellman. Accompanying them were J A Cunningham Col Bell James H Young J A Y Ashby S W Neal J M Lytle and Col Palmer.
Weather update for Iowa predicts fair skies tonight and Thursday with rising temperatures. Warmth mainly in the western portion tonight and hotter conditions expected Thursday, according to special dispatch from The Weather Bureau.
A large delegation travels to Burlington on Secret Society and Music Day at the Semi Centennial city. One hundred and thirteen tickets were sold by Agent Fox for the B N W line with an hour departure rush delaying the train. Names of many travelers are listed, including members of K of P and IOOF lodges, plus numerous families and individuals from surrounding towns.

Residents must register to vote with ward registrars on October 22 28 24 and 31 and on election day. Registration hours are from a.m. to 9 p.m. Readied locations include Engine room City Hall for Second Ward with George Tripp and W F Garet. Fred Harthorns feed store for Third Ward with Samuel Massey and Ed Grecian. Schneider's grocery for Third Ward with HL Stichter and Jos Wolf. Sturges harness shop for Fourth Ward with A S Folger and Mat Springman.
Brakeman Sherm Dillon of Widon lost three fingers on his right hand at the D I D crossings west of Davenport while coupling the westbound train. The train was pulled by Engineer Jobin Buckley of this city and ran through this morning.

Sheriff Price of Oskaloosa seeks the man wanted for a crime and plans to pursue custody after the arrest attempt. Local authorities caution that the suspect remains at large until capture is confirmed.
Joseph Graves, caught at the railroad yards Sunday by Marshal Heath and Sheriff Teeter, is wanted in Oskaloosa for larceny. A concealed weapons search confirmed guilt, and Mahaska officials will bring him before the court in ten days. Graves is also accused of house breaking and faces confinement pending court action.

The Rock Island Route offers round trip tickets to Burlington at 125 on all trains every day with return by October 9. 17 W. K. Stewart acts as agent. Burlington trip attendance includes Misses Anna and Jennie Henderson heading to Briggsville to visit their brother Dr. Henderson. Mrs. Dana leaves for Muscatine to visit Rev. and Mrs. Fowler. Temple's Comedians come to Graham for three nights starting Monday October 12.
