Parmer E. Babcock, 83, died after a fall from a ladder while shingling his two story home at 308 East Jefferson Street. He died at Washington County Hospital. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 30 p m at Sherman Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Latta officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born April 7 1879 in Washington County and died Oct 4 1962. He married Eunice White Jan 14 1903 and had lived in Washington since 1920. He was a retired farmer and member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife a brother Bert of Washington several nieces and nephews. One son and his parents preceded him in death.
