Claude White 70 Dies After Heart Attack at Brighton Home
Claude Burdelle White, 70, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at his Brighton home after a heart attack. He was a Spanish American War veteran and lived in Iowa and California before returning to Washington. Funeral services set for 11 a.m. Monday at Sherman’s Funeral Home with Rev. T. C. Polk officiating. he was married to Esta Sayre and survived by a wife, five children in California, ten grandchildren, five stepchildren, a brother Rettie White of Oregon, and other relatives.

Mrs. Mary C. Allen aged 91 was memorialized yesterday at her daughter Mrs. A. C. Beauchamp’s home near Winfield. Burial followed in Crawfordsville cemetery. Born in Indiana on April 21, 1856 she moved to Iowa at 18, married A. R. Allen in 1879, and survived by two daughters, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her husband died in 1913 and a son Roy Allen in 1929. She belonged to United Presbyterian church for many years.
