Yarmouth Castle Burns and Sinks Off Bahamas
A cruising ship carrying about 550 aboard including 450 passengers burned early today and sank after a fire erupted in the forward section. Coast Guard reports about 100 people are unaccounted for while 450 were rescued by Bahamas Star Finnpulo and other vessels. survivors describe chaotic scenes as smoke filled passageways and passengers jumped overboard. Rescue operations include Coast Guard planes cutters and helicopters along with an Air Force cargo plane assisting in directing efforts.

Using Saturn V rockets under development to lift two Apollo crews to the moon in 1969, the plan envisions leveraging the huge payload capacity of Saturn V. Wellman youths injured in two car crash
Five Wellman youths were injured in a two car collision near Wellman on Highway 22 at 12 30 a m. Charles Allen reported Alfred Debler’s car driven by his son was struck from behind by Randy Allen 18 of Wellman. Dennis Faber Connie Smith Patricia Bender and Becky Gardner were treated for cuts and bruises. Debler's car suffered $200 damage and the Allen car was a total wreck.
