Lawrence B. Griffiths files in Washington County District Court against Tracy E. Anderson Pete F. Buffer and the Anderson & Buffer law firm seeking 100000 in actual and punitive damages from the dissolution of their partnership begun January 10 1975 and ended October 1 1976. The petition alleges willful malice in the business settlement and seeks 50000 in punitive and 50000 in actual damages.

Nightspot fire destroys Country Palace in Ottumwa
In Ottumwa Iowa a west side nightspot the Country Palace burned early today discovered at 2 am by an employee returning for her purse. Firemen said the blaze burned out of control for about two hours and the citys new snorkel fire truck assisted. No injuries reported and cause under investigation.

Five Arrested After Wellman Tavern Altercation
Ronald Dean Allen 24 and Sonja Jean Allen 24 of Wellman were charged with public intoxication resisting arrest assault obstructing an officer and traffic offenses after peace officers served Ronald with citations at a Wellman tavern. Kirby L. Miller 21 of rural Parnell faced disturbing the peace. Bonds set at 1150 for each Allen, 150 for Miller. Timothy Chris Morrison 22 and Danniel Mark Morrison 24 of Ainsworth were charged with attempting to deliver a controlled substance to inmates at the Washington County Jail with bonds 5000 each. Danniel released on 10 percent and own recognizance, Timothy held.

Baader-Meinhof suspects wounded in Amsterdam shootout
Dutch officials captured at least one Baader-Meinhoff member in a Thursday night gunbattle outside an Amsterdam apartment.
