A pickup truck carrying 15 Iowa City High students collided with a car at a residential intersection. Driver Paul Brown of North Liberty and Miss Hazel Schware of Route 3 were involved. three youths—David Kutna, Paul Dunlap, and Margaret Lee—suffered serious injuries including a broken collarbone, fractured pelvis, and head injuries.
