A Des Moines Des Moines area crash marred a Knoxville homecoming as Frank Dainty 38 and his family were injured when their car collided head on with a stalled truck on Highway 92 and 60 five miles west of Knoxville. Dainty and his daughters Mary Lev 13 and Connie 6 were severely hurt. his wife 38 son Arthur 10 and brother W A Dainty 43 were bruised. The truck owned by Canuwel and Har ing Des Moines and operated by Bob Darling of Des Moines was stalled about an hour before the wreck. Darling walked to Knoxville for aid leaving a funeral Bas larg of Des Moines in the cab. A star was placed beside the rack Bas larg told Marion County Sheriff Jim van Hemert.
