General Telephone Company of the Midwest asks the Iowa State Commerce Commission for permission to restructure rates in Iowa exchanges including Washington West Chester Harper and Keota. If approved annual company revenue would rise about 344000 or 1.8 percent with changes designed to reflect costs and shift costs to the users. A separate change would cut extension and premium phone rates and replace a single all inclusive charge with a multi element installation fee.
