City county law center plan moves forward
County Sheriff Yale Jarvis briefed the City Council on a potential joint city county law enforcement center. The plan would combine city police and sheriff facilities, share dispatch, and create a high band radio system funded by federal Crime Commission money. If planning goes smoothly, the project could be real by February 1976.
