Daniel J Gases born November 7 1870 in Oakdale Illinois died May 23 1940 at his West Chester Iowa home. He married Lotie Logan March 22 1894 at Pinkneyville Illinois and they had four children Fina Ibh Paul Florence and Oscar. The family moved from Illinois to West Chester in 1918, later to town, and Daniel joined Concord Baptist church in Nashville and later transferred to West Chester church.
