County farmers push soil and water conservation effort
Three Washington county soils district commissioners report progress with over 300 farmers adopting conservation plans. Technicians aided 140 farmers, seven new neighborhood groups formed, and over 20 contour demonstrations were held as leaders were chosen in Town township North Jackson Cedar West Chester East Clay and North Highland.

President Truman proposes housing reorganization plan
President Truman sent Congress a plan to combine almost all permanent and emergency housing activities into a single housing and home finance agency with a $115000-a-year administrator. Hoover surveys U S economic limits for foreign relief
