Death of Alexander Wilson in Iowa at seventy
The expected death of Alexander Wilson of East Main Street occurred this morning. Aged seventy, he had been healthy until a few weeks ago. He was born September 1 1826 in Belmont County Ohio and married Margaret Auld on September 6 1856. The family moved to Washington County Iowa, where he farmed near Eureka. He leaves six children five living: Mrs Graham Atlantic, T T Wilson Tarkio, Silas Wilson Oskaloosa, Mrs W G Nicholson Oskaloosa, and Mrs J L Wilkins of this city. Services will be from Kirst United Presbyterian Church tomorrow at 3 p m conducted by Rev J R Logue and Rev Stark. In memoriam.
