The south east Washington camp meeting drew large crowds with Mr and Mrs Geo Davis aiding in singing. Mrs Dr Murphy of Iowa City led the Ladies Home Missionary Society talk focusing on work among southern colored communities Indian and Alaskan natives Mormons and city poor. Mrs Murphy spoke again last evening and held a ladies’ meeting earlier today. Six years ago Mr and Mrs Mack Keister wed and last Saturday a small group celebrated with them for a pleasant evening and best wishes for many more years of happiness.

The five year old Vernie Wilkins died yesterday at noon. The body was taken to Ainsworth for interment this morning. The family has the sympathy of friends in the sad trial. Mary K Lease is praised as a great orator and politician and is serving as pastor in Wichita Kansas. She will deliver her last lecture at The Graham Thursday evening with seats on sale.

Services at Trinity Chapel led by Rev Dr Hoyt
Reverend Dr Hoyt of Davenport conducted services at Trinity Chapel yesterday with the hay choir. The A M E ice cream social at the Columbia Saturday evening was very successful, adding neatly to the proceeds and providing a good time for attendees. Dr Kegley of Cedar Rapids will be at Hotel Allen Thursday for a forenoon eye ear nose and throat consultation. Hal Dawson left for a business trip to Denver and Salt Lake City, planning a stop to visit his wife’s parents in Ottumwa. Banker Josia L Utterback and wife of Sigourney were in town en route home from a visit with Ainsworth friends.
