Rev BE W Twining Dies in Corning After Long Work
Rev BE W Twining, once a resident of this city, died at his Corning home last night. A former Ohio migrant who arrived in 1847, he preached in the Presbyterian church then served as a Methodist active worker and presiding elder. He lived in Town City Marion Des Moines and Washington before settling in Corning ten years ago. He married Priscilla Ashby in 1846. his wife and son Jesse survive him. He was 85. Funeral set for tomorrow at a designated hour.
