Congress Adopts Adjournment Resolution For Tuesday
The House approved adjourning Congress next Tuesday at 5 o'clock by a 303 to 67 vote. The measure moves to the Senate where leaders expect passage. In Asuncion two diplomats engaged in a heavy sabre duel. Gonzalo Montt Rivas the Chilean minister and Lieut Col Federico Recabarren military attache to Peru were the combatants. Montt Rivas escaped with minor wounds while Recabarren suffered a deep knee slash. The fight stemmed from Recabarren s article commemorating the 1879 82 war.
