City Council Establishes Mead Street Sidewalk in Washington Iowa

Mrs Elizabeth Godfrey died last evening at her sons Samuel and Thomas home near town after a long illness. She was 83 years 4 months and 25 days old, born in Ireland, widow of a former husband, and leaves six children: Robert, Samuel, Thomas, Mrs Kate Ramsey Illinois, Mrs Huston Kansas, and Mrs Laughead Wayne County. Funeral set for tomorrow at 2 pm at her sons home with interment in the old cemetery.
