May Festival at the High School Next Wednesday
The annual May festival is set for next Wednesday April 25 at 4 15 pm on the east lawn of the high school. Participants include high school students and children from four grade schools. Thomas J. Whitlock Dies in Ainsworth After Stroke
Civil War veteran Thomas J. Whitlock died at his Ainsworth home after a second stroke. Born January 1, 1846 in Tennessee, he served in the Eleventh Tennessee Cavalry and married Eliza Burnett on November 9, 1865.
