Perfex sales engineer Robert Stein and James Kelly pose beside a giant truck built by Veon Division of Peerless Mfg Co in Dallas. Sold to a western copper mine, the 170 ton vehicle weighs 250 to 300 tons payload and measures 25 by 50 by nearly 20 feet. It carries a 650000 dollar price and powers an electric generator for six motorized wheels. The radiator cools jacket water and aftercoolers, with two large heat exchangers cooling lube oil.
