Pella Tulip Time crowning announces 40th festival

Owen W White of Ainsworth was named Civil Defense director for Washington County by the County Board of Supervisors. The appointment took effect May 1. Kindergarten roundup for Brighton students next year

Guilty Verdict in Kalona Speeding Case
Everett G. Meeker of Washington found guilty by a Washington County Magistrate Court jury of driving 58 mph in a 45 mph zone inside Kalona city limits on February 5. Judge Bernard C.
