Washington High School presents a Fine Arts Festival Concert and Art Exhibit in the school gym on Thursday evening May 5 at 8. The Symphonic Band directed by Alan Bergstrom and the Concert Choir under Vernon Feuerhelm perform along with a jazz combo featuring Sue Berdo and others. The art exhibit showcases 60 to 80 pictures by W. Carlton Bump's students in oil, casein, tempera, drawings and etchings with works by the entire high school art department. Sara Kephart Chris Carson Jean Pribly Jackie Schoonover and Linda Miller are among featured vocalists and accompanists Mollie Kneen and Linda Miller accompany the vocal program.
