Washington Elementary spring music program set for May 6
The Washington Elementary Community Schools present a spring music program Monday May 6 at 7 30 p m in the Washington Jr High gym. Performers include the 6th Grade Boys Chorus Sunrise Singers 6th Grade Chorus directed by Berdena Bagby and the Red Band 6th Grade Jazz Band Blue Band directed by Fred Stark. A tuba solo by Mark Waltman titled Blue Bells of Scotland is featured along with a guest director Irv Rich and a local trombone performer. The Lions Club will award the most improved band student from Brighton Lincoln and Stewart. Admission is free and the public is invited.
