A two day old boy, Elliot Stockert, died after transfusions and respiratory paralysis. The infant, donor to two blood transfusions, worsened and died in Council Bluffs.

George Bray Dies. Funeral Set for Fairfield
George Bray a longtime Veo area resident died Wednesday night at Kirksville Missouri hospital after a major operation. Funeral services will be held Saturday at two o clock at Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield. He was a farmer who lived most of his life in the community and is survived by four children Vera Ingham Selma Verle Beauchamp Sylvia Dana and Walter Bray. Mrs Bray died last April.
