Auto Strike Kills Cedar Falls Man on Highway 218
Axel G. Anderson 36 of Cedar Falls was killed when struck by a car driven by E H Guinn a mile east of Cedar Falls on Highway 218. Guinn said he did not see Anderson due to blinded by approaching lights. Anderson died at Sartori hospital where coroner Sidney Smith ordered a hearing at the state patrol office in Cedar Falls to decide if an inquest is needed.
