Man indicted in Farley manslaughter trial and juvenile car theft case
Henry County grand jury indicted Farley in a manslaughter trial. Ottumwa area juveniles tied to a Friday vehicle theft spree were arrested near Anamosa Saturday morning in a car owned by a Wellman man after a pickup was left near West Chester. Later, a West Chester pickup was taken to Wellman and abandoned for the car in which they were captured. Meanwhile in Ames Miss Jennifer J Owen, 19, Maxwell, was chosen to represent Iowa in the Miss USA Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico following her Miss Iowa 1972 title win.
