Substitution Allowed for Diverted Acres in 1967 Program

Farmers in the 1967 Feed Grain Program may substitute other eligible land for diverted acres at sign up last spring. Severe flood damage has reduced productive land, and with ASC County Committee approval and proper weed control and conservation practices, substitutions of at least one acre are permitted where measurability by township committees is feasible. This does not replace crops lost to flooding but offers flexibility to gain from losses. Contact the ASCS county office for details.
