Lamb Grading Sets Top Price at Burlington Yard Sale
A top price of ten and a half cents per pound was paid for two prime lambs at the Burlington stock yards lamb grading today. 217 head were sold, up slightly from three weeks ago, with 109 good to choice lambs at 10 cents, 63 medium at 9.10, and 20 bucks at 9. Cull ewes and yearlings composed the rest. Wilson & Company of Cedar Rapids bought the stock, graded by E. L. Hegg of Iowa City.
