Mrs McCreedy dies at 60 in Washington County
Milford McCreedy, 60, died Saturday June 26 1965 at Washington County Hospital after a daylong illness. Survived by husband Milford, one son Wilfred of Ainsworth, one daughter Dorothy Megehesen of Ainsworth, five grandchildren, three brothers Glenn Kermit of Washington and Dennis of Trenton. Funeral Monday at 4 pm at Jones Funeral Home with Rev Dale Brehmer, burial in Ainsworth Cemetery. Beatrice Elmire Klopfenstein born Jan 30 1905 Wayland daughter of Fred and Amanda Wyse Klopfenstein reared at Wayland married Feb 12 1930 to Milford McCreedy. They lived on a farm north of Ainsworth since marriage. She was a member of Ainsworth United Presbyterian Church.

William Murphy 95 of 621 East Washington Street died Saturday June 26 1965 at Washington County Hospital after months of decline. Funeral Monday at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Rev S C Picken in charge. Burial in Ainsworth Cemetery. Survivors include William R Murphy Samuel T Murphy James H Murphy and Mrs Ford Martin plus 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was born September 8 1869 in Ireland and married Elizabeth Hamilton Carson February 11 1897 in Monmouth Illinois. The couple lived on a farm near Ainsworth before moving to Washington in 1944. He was the last of five siblings and a Presbyterian.
