Waterloo official R R McDou gall, president of the Iowa Restaurant association, asked Iowa's congressional delegation for help against a sharp ration-point cut for eating places by the Office of Price Administration effective July 1. He warned that about 90 percent of the state's restaurants could close during July and August and convened northeast Iowa restaurant owners Saturday night to map a response.

Grinnell County officials investigate a fatal crash on Highway 146 two miles north of here.
