Mrs. Robert Quinn entertained members of Rosemary club yesterday afternoon. Bridge was played at five tables with prize winners Mrs. Clive Gray high and Mrs. Charles Rothlisberger low. Mrs. P. F. Whisler was lucky. Guest included Mrs. Rex Crandall and Mrs. Mac Davis.
Rowland assistants Mrs Don Brown aided the hostess in serving seasonal refreshments, underscoring community social duties and hospitality in the event.
Daughters of Union Veterans attended a picnic supper Monday evening at Sunset Park. Mrs. W. B. Dupuis, patriotic instructor, led a short patriotic program in keeping with the occasion.

The June meeting of St Anthony Circle of St James church met at Mrs Ray Whiteheads home with Mrs Don Tibbetts presiding. Members planned an ice cream social on June 25 at the St James school lawn and enjoyed bridge and pinochle with prizes awarded to Mrs Limerman and Mrs Jesse Moore.
The executive board of the Woman's Society of Christian Service hosted a dessert luncheon in the church serving room attended by 18 members. Afternoon reports were presented and plans discussed for the general W S C S meeting on June 20 with Unit No 6 as hostess. Unit No 3 will run family night on June 24 and the last general meeting before September was noted.
