An Iowa audit shows football earned 451 316 in 1973 and 1 464 549 in 1974 with a 1 013 233 expenditure leaving a 451 316 profit. Basketball lost 29 278 in 1973 74 while other sports also posted deficits. Overall sports showed a 31 840 loss with receipts 1 880 991 and expenditures 1 912 832. Scholarships totaled 532 714 from multiple sources.
