Richland observer reports Mrs. Sadie Dagle, 84, died at 4 a.m. in her Richland home after months of ill health. Born January 25, 1872 near Richland, she was married to Joseph Dagle in 1900. Spirit Lake March Slowed by Blisters
OTTOSEN IOWA UP The National Guard platoon reenacting the 130 mile Spirit Lake rescue march advanced past the halfway point with most men suffering blisters. The 16 member unit from Company E 133rd Regiment and two Boy Scouts started from Webster City Sunday and reached 60 miles by Tuesday night.
