Three Die in Car Train Collision Near Council Bluffs
Three people from Council Bluffs died when their car collided with an eastbound North Western passenger train at a crossing three miles north of Council Bluffs. Pottawatomie County Coroner Stanley Woodring identified the victims as Killiwin Alleen Reed, 53, his wife Goldie, 2, and daughter Rosie, 10, with ration books found in the car. An inquest will be held.
