Miss Helen Creswell, county welfare worker, said that the unemployment relief rolls fell from 119 in May to 74 at the start of June, with only 48 of May’s list actually receiving funds. May saw 102 unemployables on county records for April, including widow and blind pensions. The drop reflects seasonal relief trends as warm weather reduces needs and job prospects improve.
