The Washington Concert band will hold Wednesday night concerts in Central Park during June July and August from eight to nine. Business leaders are funding the mid week performances while the municipal band supports Saturdays and sacred concerts Sundays. The group recently performed in Oskaloosa at a farmers meeting.

Rush in June to pay first half 1933 taxes in county
Washington county treasurer notes a surge of property owners due in June for the first half of 1933 taxes.
