Community Mourns Death of Peter Tschantz After Horse Accident

Peter Tschantz, a longtime Wayland resident, died Wednesday night after a horse kicking him in the side while being led to pasture caused fatal injuries. The funeral is set for today at 1 p.m. A Woman's Foreign Missionary Society meeting at the Methodist church followed a charitable outing to the Brown home and county farm, with 56 members in attendance and praise offered to hosts.
