Sherman Burial Set for Elizabeth Sherman Wednesday
Last rites for Elizabeth Sherman will be held Wednesday at two o'clock in the United Presbyterian Church with Dr. George Kerr officiating. She died suddenly yesterday at a Rochester Minnesota hospital from leukemia after three years of illness. Sherman, born in Washington, directed social service and welfare work in Pittsburgh and Spencer Town, served as Iowa welfare field officer, and belonged to the United Presbyterian church and Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by brothers Roger Sherman of Washington and Robert of Spencer.
